Jaguara
In 2019 Cósmico America featured Jaguara: a spectacular light and sound show and the artistic centerpiece of our 2019 Biennial Festival. Jaguara is the artistic vision of Sonic Design Studio, a digital design company based in Bogotá, Colombia. Strikingly beautiful and humbling, Jaguara stands as a platform to bring attention to the deforestation and increasing endangerment of the jaguar habitat in North and South America. Cósmico Americas 2019 was a night to be remembered with digital light projections by artist Catalina Estrada and Akira Hasegawa and a musical lineup featuring Systema Solar, Jackie Mendoza , KILTRO, Los Mocochetes and Mucho Indio.
